New BE Prompt: Willful Bad Decisions
by Treehouse Editors
The new writing prompt for our next round of Brief Encounters submissions is: Willful Bad Decisions!
Ever done something that you knew was a bad idea, but went ahead and did anyway? The text you shouldn’t have sent, the job you shouldn’t have quit, or the hornets’ nest you shouldn’t have kicked? Send us your super-short (400 words or less) pieces on the theme of red flags deliberately ignored. For more information about Brief Encounters, see our submission guidelines. We can’t wait to read your good, short writing!
It’s been a over a month since Brief Encounters was updated. Have you gone to an email list? If so, how do I apply for it?
Hi Alyce,
Apologies for the late reply; we haven’t been getting comment notifications through email for some reason. Anyway, we’re still using the current system for Brief Encounters, but we haven’t yet updated it because we had a lag in submissions during this period. However, we’re currently reviewing submissions for the current prompt and will be posting a new one very soon.
Best,
