Treehouse was founded in 2012 by a plucky group of creative writing students at UNC-Wilmington, under the guidance of then-MFA candidate Johannes Lichtman. Today, our editors reside all over the country, but the magazine remains committed to publishing flash prose, poetry, and genre-benders short enough to enjoy on a coffee break, but good enough to remember when the day is done.
